Bandon

The Coquille River round trip tour from Bandon to Bear Creek is two hours long with no stops. All Bandon tours are private and can accommodate up to six passengers over 8 years old. Bottled water is provided upon request and passengers are encouraged to bring any food or beverages aboard. All Bandon tours are aboard the pocket tug “O’Flynn”.

Upon leaving the Bandon Boat Basin we’ll motor by remnants of Bandon’s boom years when lumber mills, fish canneries, boat building and river ferries historically lined the banks. The Coquille is a river steeped in early pioneer history, and around every turn there’s a story to be told.  In addition to its historical significance, the Coquille is teeming with ecological beauty. You can expect to see many different resident and migrating bird species among majestic spruce tress and lush myrtle wood groves lining the bucolic Coquille River valley. This is a very relaxing tour filled with stunning landscape views and fresh air.

In the event of high winds and waves that create dangerous conditions immediately north of Bandon, we begin the boat tour at Rocky Point County Park near the historic town of Randolph off of North Bank Ln. From Rocky Point, we will motor upriver to Lampa Creek and back.
